    Forum Names

I got my name from the account I used most frequently playing "crowbar swings". I had Ragnar, Ragnar_ii, iii, iv, and v. They all eventually became mule accts and I only really played on Ragnar_ii, so I thought it fit to use that as my forum name.

Aside from D2, I actually came up with the name Ragnar myself for use in a game a long time ago, before I heard it used in other games. Ive been using it in everything, aim screen name, email addresses and such. Now, I just wish my name was capitalized, but whatever.

So, how did you come up with your forum name?

I was screwing around with alt+numpad, and musical notes popped up. It had to be done.

Ski gave it to me years ago. Anytime he sets up an account for me on something like this he uses the same one. It just sorta stuck.

Me and a couple of friends were playing CounterStrike and all had names that go along with mine, you've heard em all, we were just being annoying.

Anyway, once 1.10 came out, I made a druid and named it this, then I joined up here and used that name, as that was the only character I played at the time.

Then I ended up making a meteorb and all my posts were in the sorc forum.

I was around for about a year before I found this place.

Come to think of it, I really want to change my name.

I got it from a game a played with my friends back in the day(preschool/elementary school). We couldn't spell, so people always mispronounce my name. It is Spaz with an "ed" sound on the end.

The KOW part stands for "Knights of the Old Wars" or "Knights of War".

I've thought several times of changing mine. I just have no clue what it should be so I just leave it as is.

AeroJonesy - One half has to do with my major in college, the other half has to do with an age-old nickname spawned from my last name. Guess which is which.

This is like my Bnet name. My Bnet one is a combination of my favorite DJ back when I was a kid and + Dragon. Erm, DJ Mystik. <-- Real confused with c and k, but it is really k.

My favorite character in the Neil Gaiman book Neverwhere. I dropped the "Mr" part just because.

When I first started on the internet the first thing I needed a name for was Hotmail. I tried everything I could think of but they were all taken (I didn't want a crappy number on the end of my name). Finally I resorted to words and names I'd made up for some stories I was writing, it still took a few tries. I settled on this one and it's stuck ever since; it's handy because it's almost never taken.

Dondrei is one of the major Houses in the Saulish Imperium. They became a Noble House after the Kassari Insurgency (it was supposed to happen centuries before that but, well - long story).

I wanted to be Isalier (one of the rebel Houses), but for some reason that was taken.

Wasn't Sir Ragnar a knight you had to rescue in one mission of the board game Hero Quest? I'm sure it's been in a million fantasy things aside from that, but for some reason I remember that.

I emailed Elly about capitalising my initial "d", he never got back to me though.

I've heard of all kinds of chic (nerd-chic, granny-chic etc), but never hockey-chic...

Part of it is from my name (Durfee) and part from my favorite *crowbar* character (Farnham the Drunk).

EDIT: Elly is a she, you inconsiderate lout. No wonder she ever got back to you.

    Borta'z = Klingon for "Revenge"

It still makes me feel like a nerd when I admit that.

I had a mahvelous imagination as a kid.

Gertlex, Nword, Almanar. My 3 most common aliases. Every hit for Gertlex on google is me... Nword has other meanings that people love to be idiots about. Al'manar is a middle eastern university....

Next i'll call myself Elipsis Inc....

Well, I didn't know; either she doesn't post much (at least not as long as I've been here) or just not in the OTF.

I always forget who's male and who's female anyway, just look at that rainbow unicorn thing I set off a while ago.

    OMG, nerd.

*Goes back to watching Dr Who and the original Battlestar Galactica*

So what does your version of Nword mean, or where did it originate?
