Fortified and Stylish [A Conc Barb Insight]

I'm sure this topic has come up numerous times but none of the answers ever seem to satisfy me. Now, the question I present to you is: Which is the most plausible body armor for a concentrate barbarian? My choices have been narrowed down to Eth Valor, Steel Carapace (a regular 1700 defense one since I'm too poor to afford the Ethereal version), a "Stone" Runeword Armor, or a Leviathan. I have thought about the pros and cons for each (keep in mind I also take looks into account. There is nothing better than having a cool looking, as well as powerful, barbarian :):

Eth Valor:
Pros:
-~2000 Defense, +Life, FHR
Cons:
-Expensive, not to sure about appearance.

Steel Carapace:
Pros:
-Looks cool, High defense (if i ever get the Eth version)
Cons:
-High strength requirement, no other really good mods except for defense.

Stone Armor
Pros:
-Very high defense, + to stats, + resistances, i get to choose the look.
Cons:
-Nothing I can think of really.

Leviathan
Pros:-Nice defense somewhat, damage reduce (allowing a belt opening since i won't have to use verdungos for damage reduce), +str (more dmg), very slick green color that makes you feel like a killer mutant squid ;)
Cons:
-Defense isnt as high as the others (unless i put Pul in it)

Your opinions? I would very much appreciate it if someone could model a leviathan, steel carapace, and valor for me (with arreats on) and post screenshots :).
