for the one hundred-millionth time...Pal status...

Please don't hate me for asking this, when it has been asked so many times before, I couldn't find those threads...I plan to donate to DiabloII.net, not just for the pal status, but to do my part in keeping the place alive....

When you donate the money through paypal. Do i have to send a email to...(someone) saying how much i donated and what my username is in order for me to get my pal status...?? anymore details i should know?

Just do it through the user CP, they've made it really easy to do now.

From the CP go to the side menu that says "paid subscriptions" it'll tell you what to do from there.

What I'm wondering is.. does DiabloII.net actually need the money they receive from pay pals? I mean, with all the thousands of people checking in regularly. clicking banners etc.. I challenge mods to prove the paypal thing isn't purely cosmetic!

why wouldn't they need it? they have to shell out thousands just to keep this pile running, to quote miss anyee, "bandwith isn't cheap"

most people don't click banners, a lot of them openly refuse to

this is possibly the funniest thing i've read all day

I strongly suggest you edit or delete your post Quest For Glory unless before someone comes along and flames you. That topic has been discussed before and by posting about it in this way you are inviting a flaming.

From the description of the old way to donate, they say it costs about $120.00 U.S. Dollars a day to keep this site running... as Zeppelin and Anyee said.... "bandwith isn't cheap"
