fourth class revealed?!?

Check this out.i don't know if its a new class but it suure looks like it even though it maybe just an enemy,mercenary or npc.
its from blizzcon so just check it out.

"Desert Raider". Fits nicely into the diablo theme. Better than "woodsman" and other discussed alias' for the ranged class in D3.

Why in the world would you say it is a ranged class? Look at him, holding a sword. Likely this is the second melee class that is expected to come, perhaps a dervish type out of the Lut Gholein deserts, perhaps also a tie in to the secretive Assassin orders.

yeah...but i'm still not sure if thats a new class.so dont get carried away.
and also,im not sure if the name is raider,bowman,bandit or anything.no its not a barbarian as you can see.comeone,that sand dude has katana.and tnx to some of ya.i looked at the picture and infact see a long bow and aquiver of arrows:yes:

ways to tell that this is not a barbarian:

1.)this guy is less muscular than the barbarian and the fact that the barb wheres a very big belt.

2.)it would be wierd and stupid to see a barbarian with bows,arrows and blades that looks like it came from japan.dumdums.hahahaha...

Anyway, you do you think blizzard to be that stupid? They won't leek something where everyone would see it, if they even leek anything. If it's not the barbarian, it's probably just an NPC/merc/concept that has been abandoned. They did start with a mele character that wasn't the barbarian, yet it ended up as the barbarian. Perhaps it started as that.


P.S. dual wield and bows = ranger. So it's possible - although I don't think so.

Anyway, you do you think blizzard to be that stupid? They won't leek something where everyone would see it, if they even leek anything. If it's not the barbarian, it's probably just an NPC/merc/concept that has been abandoned.

The shot makes the character look too epic/important to be an NPC or a merc.

They did start with a mele character that wasn't the barbarian, yet it ended up as the barbarian. Perhaps it started as that.

P.S. dual wield and bows = ranger. So it's possible - although I don't think so.

If that new character is going to be desert themed, then it better be called "Raider" or something along those lines.

I was hoping for a class like this. Perhaps from the Dry Steppes. That's a pretty huge desert and I've wondered who lived there. I know the druids are from Scosglen, but I mean the lower section.

Blizzard wouldn't be so sloppy as to post artwork of an unannounced class so far in advance. It's probably concept art for an enemy or NPC. Maybe a merc or something.

Looks pretty cool, its quite possible the fourth class as we didnt have a desert themed hero so far and with the desert raider theme there is a lot of cool stuff that they can explore, even some ancient tricks like invoking sand and blinding enemies with it, etc....

Plus as someone said, it looks quite epic to be a simple character.

Hahaha ... yeah that's possible too .. they could have done it on purpose .. i bet if you try to ask them about that picture they will say "no comment" or something like that .. they always like to tease the fans :crazyeyes:
