First Uber yesterday -- sharing experience and ask for suggestions

Hi Folks,
I did my very first Uber Tristrim run yesterday! Very excited! :grin:
My Barb is a Frenzy Barb, with very good gears:
* Ebotd Cb+Lw pb
* 6LL Arreat
* Enigma SA
* Highlord+2 Ravens
* Dracul
With lvl 40 BO, my life is around 5.5k.

Whiling in Uber Trist, because of a huge lag, my intention to lure Meph out failed, and I was facing Baal, his double, and Meph together. Frenzy does not work well in that situation, since I'm mobbed with their minions, and Frenzy tend to attack more on the PI minions around me. So, I switched to use Conc. Although my Conc has only 1 hard point, its synergy makes it still effective, with about 9-10k dmg. However, the problem is that, my AR is low (especially when my Blessed Aim Merc was killed) -- only 8-9K (with the Merc, it was about 13K). Defense is not bad -- 16K. I guess without Life Tap, I may not survive.. :cry:

I had to go back town and get back in to kill the alone Diablo, which is fairly easy. Then, my second attempt to lure Meph succeeded, and killed him. Lastly, Baal himself is not a big deal.

My question is that:
1. Is this AR enough, or how should I buff it even more to enough?
2. What should be the strategy to deal with the mobbed minions? I only contributed 1 hard point in Howl, not sure if it is usable. Should I use Conc instead of Frenzy?

1. well, i think that the first few times i ran the ubers my ar was also ~8k, but then i adjusted my gear to use "death" rw for the 20% inc ar, and started buffing w/ demon limb, which add ~2k ar for 4 min. also, for a faster kill if ur staying w/ the last wish u dont need dracs as well, so switch them out for LoH. so, simply buff w/ the demon limb, and use LoH and youll be fine. also, u sould never count on your merc for anything when it comes to uber trist, simply b/c they wont live long enough to do any real good.

2. yes, 1pt howl is good enough, u really just need the minions to get out of the way long enough to get a name lock on the big guys. and, i also use it periodically if there gets to be too many minions, since frenzy will also hit nearby target, and u want to focus on the ubers. so, left click frenzy, and right click for quick howls.

3. i have never found the need to use any other attack besides frenzy. any, yes i have been surrounded by all three ubers+ baal clone at the same time (while solo), and had to just pound it out. it takes a bit, but you'll do much more dmg w/ the 5 fpa of frenzy then u will w/ conc. (basically wanted to see if i could do it)

gear:
* Ebotd Cb+Lw pb - :) thats fine, stick w/ it.
* 6LL Arreat - socket w/ ber or ed/max jewel
* Enigma SA - fine for regular pvm, but for ubers u want a coh for the res and ed to demons
* Highlord+2 Ravens - :) perfect, stick w/ it
* Dracul- u alrealy have life tap on lastwish, so swithc to LoH for the ed to demons
boots: u should be wearing gores
belt: string is going to the best choice here - dugos are also good, but i like the mdr and LL of sting when pvm
(def is nice, but ive found not to be that important when it come to pvm, so dont sacrifice other stats for def)

charms:
i went w/ 3x plain 15 all res gcs to make sure that i had 75 light res, and 45 res on rest AFTER mephs conviction. then, i filled up rest of invintory w/ psn charms to counter their healing. but, u could pretty much use anything u want since u already have 5.5k life, plain ar gcs would be perfect/cheap fit as well. basically, u already plenty of life, just use what u think will give u a faster/easier kill.

I think LoH should be the thing I'm aiming for. It is just that I need to add more str to wear the Enigma SA... which means lvling from 91 to 94...

here is my plan of changes:
change highlord and one of the ravens to angelic ring+ammy, for massive AR, so that even my Merc dies in Uber, I still don't have difficulty hitting the bosses. I will keep the other Raven.

For the lost dex to equip PB, i will have to switch my Verdungo belt with Tals belt. And for the lost FHR to reach 5 frame BP, i will have to switch 2 of my 20 life sc to 2 5FHR sc. Hope it will be worth it...

Just found out that Angelic ring+ammy provides +10 dex bonus, so that I will have exactly 136 dex for PB. So, I can keep the Dungo belt :grin:
