Diablo IV, Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 Forums - Diabloii.Net
So I finally did the following:
1. Matted a char in 1.09
2. Beat the game with only 1 char (As opposed to beating the game in self-mp with a Necro/Barb in a TCP-IP game in 1.13)
The sorc did receive help from my 1.09 barb in NM for Duriel I believe. But after that, I pretty much did Hell on the sorceress completely alone. The ancients in 1.09 were pretty easy, the only challenging part of it was that Talic had extra fast and didn't want to get slowed/frozen with my Frozen Orb. Other than that, ancients was a breeze, and so was Throne and WSK.
There is still a lot more I want to do in 1.09 and this is just the beginning but I'm definitely happy I've accomplished this

Overall, 1.09 is soooooooooooooooo much easier than 1.10+... and I like it. I had struggled so much to play Hell on 1.10+ but on 1.09 Hell was actually very very enjoyable.
I definitely love 1.09 and it's definitely the best patch for me.

bonus info: While I was mfing for the first time on this sorc in 1.09, I was very lucky I guess with the drops because they were great. In 1 day I found:
1. Occy
2. Stormshield
3. Skullders
4. Another Ali-Baba (Eth though )
5. Vipermagi
6. Peasant Crown (I call it a mini shako)
7. Tals Belt
8. Crown of Thieves
9. A bunch of other set items like Sigon, IK, etc
Overall, this is a very nice start. Now time to build a treasure and become rich and powerful Muahahahahha
