first HCL (season 2) kill

Well I had not made any formal duelers yet, but when this level 70something pally hostiled my ** CS zon whilst i was leveling in act 5 (it was a trade game) I just couldn't resist myself.

He says "a1 if you want to duel". I go to act 1, near town entrance, and he pops outside and amps me. I go to akara and heal........... he amps me again.

So I say I wont duel if he amps me..... so he says OK. Then we get into a big argument about my mercenary and me having Battle Orders. So I agree to let my mercenary die.... but i wouldnt give up my Battle orders (since he hostiled me with BO on... he should duel me with BO on) (I was getting battle orders from my level 51 BO barb in the game).

So he brings his buddy in to BO him. (His buddy is a level 76 Death Cleaver zerker). Everything is settled... except he wants me to go out first.... i say he hostiled so he should go out... so he pops out and charges away, i walk outside and when i get near, he AMPS me! Charges, misses, and i poke him, taking off half his health, he charges away and leaves game.

COmes back, and says 'whatever noob u are lucky i didnt hit you' and i am like sure whatever.

He re-hostiles, pops out, i go after him. This time his buddys follow to watch the match. Long story short.... 2 pokes later he is on the floor. His buddy the death cleaver zerker grabs the ear.. but i got the gold!!

And of course the zerker wants a piece of me. I succeeded in getting him below chicken life 3 times, but never enough to kill him.

I guess lvl 28 charg strike just aint strong 'nuff. :)

Nice job! A valiant effort. It's very commendable that you maintained your composure in spite of the fact that your opponent chose to display a dis-honorable demeanor. :winner:

Screenshotting kills, I wish I would think to do that like Sip. I'm too busy looking for more red X's running around the map and who's trying to buffalo me.

Good work Steve, and never duel the Zerker Barbs, those guys are deadly deadly.

well.... yeah...i wouldnt normally duel one but i had battle orders on so i felt somewhat invincible with my 2.5k HP and max block/50% dodge
