well folks, i just got my first char killed with tppk, lvl 84 trapsin by a sorc named *KevinOverEast -.-

it all took place in a trading game where i was mfing pits and this sorc came out of nowhere, butchering me in exactly less than 0.00001 seconds. talk about WTF. my mind didnt even register until deeds showed up and i was starely at it with a blank face for a few minutes.
And then he took my money ... thats crossing the line!

Luckily for me i had already xfered all my gear to a mule, except that titans and dwarfstar i found in the previous game, and everything that sin was wearing.

Lets all message *Tyranith and laugh at his/my stupidity

Don't worry, Kevin died against a fallen early in season when he was leading the race. He's probably raged he can't PVM.

private pits = lose... that's why I don't consider pit runners to be mfers any more, maybe at one point, but not now.

How did he come out of nowhere? If I'm in a pub, I'm always looking at my map to see if anyone comes near. As soon as I see someone, I'm out. Espeacially if I'm in a common area that pk'ers search, such as the pits.

Why do private pits = lose?

I would assume because more players = more items dropped by every monster = more chances to spawn uniq/set/good items. This is particularly true when you are mfing in an area as oppossed to a boss run (although it still applies) since you are basically just relying on the TC of the monsters so you want as many chances as possible for items to drop and your mf to work.

I had this same thing happen to me today on my level 58, not a big loss, but i'm still pretty pissed at how it happened so fast. Happened in a NM Baal run. As soon as I got hostiled I died.

Tppk sucks, but after a while you find ways to avoid it.

Last season I didnt get tppked a single time. You learn when to spot them, and what to do when you spot them. Or you play with buddies.
