First Ever Necro

im thinking of making my first ever necro and i obviously want him to kick *** but im not a fan of PnB skills(i only like bone armor)
what skills should i max first?

any help would be helpfull!!

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :drink: and feel free to raise some corpses.

A good first build is the Skelliemancer. You can find a guide for that build in the Strategy Compendium. You can also check the [ Essential Necromancer Information ] thread for info on more builds. It also contains various Skelliemancer hybrids for you to try your hand at.

You can also try a Poisonmancer. These guys are a bit more equipment dependant and harder than your average Skelliemancer. The guide for that is also in the [ Essential Necromancer Information ] thread.

Frosty, prepared for the rest of your life to go down the toilet for the next couple months if not years! This game is dangerously addictive and once you learn to play necros properly its just going to get worse.
The only way to save yourself is to be sure to play with lots of idiots in low-level bnet games who will not realize until its too late that the necro they blame all their woes on is actually saving their keesters and making them rack up tons of exp. Whatever you do, do _not_ find and play with a group of people that knows how to use their char's abilities with necros!!! There is a REASON why the necro char looks pasty-YOU will end up like that in a few months after spending every waking moment playing your chars (hmm now that I hit lvl 99 with this one, let me try a bonemancer or an overlord or a poisonmancer or commandomancer or...) Smash your CD's now before its too late!

Sorry Growlor, but the game promised me to give me the last piece of the IK set I wanted for my Meleemancer if I gave it another soul. I just had to.
