Well yes and no. I have no problem with my hutermentalist and he uses volcano and fissure with a nice lvl bear.

Why not just skip them if possible normal minions are one or the other. If you need to kill a boss badly enough with both can't you just team up with other people and let them do it for you?

yes it can be done, poison creeper, and merc, a act2 holy freeze merc wish bonehew stomps everything on hell long as it doesn't get jumped by like 50 monsters, so long as you have his back he can do it.
