Fireclaw Druid vs Mauler?

Ive been thinking about this for a period of time and ive been looking at brilliant guides written for the fireclaw druid and the mauler but i just can't decide what to build for my pvp choice. Fireclaw sounds devastating with pure fire burning damage and mauler sounds deadly with its stun and speed, damage etc. Anyone got some tips or suggestions of what to do? I have a fireclaw druid and hes awesome in pk except he has trouble going after those airheaded sorcs (curse of enigma :flip:) but if he gets a hit on them its over XD, but the main problem is that i know some people stack massive resist with items such as hotspurs and +to all resist items which decreases my fireclaw damage substantially. I was thinking about shifting and remaking into a mauler sound good or should i stick with the flames? Suggestions? Comments? Thanks in advance

If you're having hard time catching sorcs with Fireclawer, you'll have an even tougher time with mauler, you just need to work on your speed and strategy it seems.

Most legit duelers don't just happen to be wearing hotspurs unless they run back to stash u, in that case just sorb them back. You can dish out far more damage/per attack than any caster and tank far more if build right.

Maulers are fun to use, but very gear pricy too... I mean, u gotta be pretty wealthy to be effective. They're slower and deal far less damage, there's only very few situations in which they'd thrive over any other class imo.

thing is its not deadly. i mean they can be very affective, but only with really good expensive gear and even then their success rate is very limited.
they're still really fun, but if an uphill battle isnt what you want, stick with muh fc druid.
