fire vs windy druid?

Contemplating on which druid to make. Which is more effective and does more dmg?

Wind Druids are the preferred build.

wind druids cant be absorbed and have pretty good defense vs all class types

fire druids take more skill to play effectively, but NL with fissure/volcano is pretty effective against defensive characters

However Fire Druids are hella expensive.

Fire druids are weakened by the fact that they have no viable offensive skills, so they turn into low damage sorbable hammerdins.

i dont know about other realms, but in europe wind druids are extremely common, but very rare i see a fire druid, can also be expensive for equipment. fire druids can easily be absorbed too.

If your doing PVM, monsters in hell generally have high fire resistances, making fire harder to use than wind in any area in general.

Fire druids are fun, no doubt about that. And they can be very good. But comparing these characters is hard, since the one gives physical damage with some cold damage from Hurricane, and the other fire damage with some physical damage from Volcano.

Winddruids generally have more chance of doing good in pub pvp games, because they can not be absorbed.

In PVM physical immunes arent common, and fire immunes are very common. But for that u could use a infinity merc, enough firefacets and (if still needed) a lower resist wand. It depends on what u want to do. If pvp i would suggest Winddruid since they are easier to play with and more effective.

Firedruids do have a high rating in the stylefactor though. But if u dont care about that, go for Wind
