Fire trapper for ladder reset!

Today I saw a fire trapper in baalrun who used the wake of fire skill and I was like "whooa that's cool dude!" So I decided to make a fire trapper when the ladder resets ;) After a couple of hours thinking I came up with 3 build ideas. And just wanted to ask the assa- experts which one would be the best.

1) The frantic vegetable-sin
20 wake of fire, 20 fireblast, 20 wake of inferno, 20 dragon tail

2) The crispy bacon-sin
20 wake of fire, 20 fireblast, 20 wake of inferno, 20 mindblast

3) The third build idea-sin
20 wake of fire, 20 fireblast, 20 wake of inferno, 20 Death sentry

This is for untwinked pvm and please don't say a word about lightning assasins :D

I once built a fire trapsin and while it's a lot of fun, it's just not as effective as lightning sin. Wake of Inferno is just slow and doesn't hit often (3 spikes of flame). Even for PvM I think lightning is better. For the fun factor though, go for it :)

Thats a great idea. The fire isnt very strong without many +to skills but it does dmg to a large area. Go with build 1 with death sentry for blowing up corpses.

Earth to single-element trappers - the standard Lit/Fire trapper combines powerful lightning spells with a more powerful Death Sentry, and a very effective Fire Blast for synergy, dealing with immunes, and spammable attack.

"whooa that's cool dude!"
That's the only reason to do this. Of your options, #3 is the only truly viable option for PvM (provided you don't skimp on the 1-pt wonders... read a guide if you have questions). In PvP, you'll want #2.

can you point a good guide out to read for a Lit/Fire trapper ?

Thx for all the replys! Now I just have more questions >.<. 1) If there is anyone who has played a fire trapper on hell can you tell me how good is she? can she for example solo act1-2? 2) And which is better for pvm: wake of fire or wake of inferno?

WoI is much better late game, but you're still going to have a rough time. DS ended up getting most of my kills, and it was a struggle getting corpses to feed it.

Note that unlike a LS/FB trapper, a WoI or WoF trapper doesn't have a good immune solution besides DS's corpse explosion, and will tend to have less points available for support skills.

The first trapper I ever made was fire. It's viable but very, very slow in hell. The problem is that fire traps are slow in acquiring and staying with targets, and that Wake of fire, while pure ownage through norm and acts 1 and 2 of NM, drops off rapidly after that.

I think I had maxed fireblast, maxed wake of inferno, maxed wake of fire, maxed death sentry (which gives you a tiny bit of lightning damage and huge c.e. radius), and the usual one point wonders in the shadow tree. Was starting to pump Light Sentry for a bit more Death Sentry lightning damage, but ended up neglecting that character. Safe and can kill things, but so slow :(
