    Finally

I finally got to see Killswitch Engage without having to fly half way round the world. w00t. They came to New Zealand, the show was oversold and the excitement was huge! i'm so glad i went. Best thing in my life. It was pretty amazing to be standing like 2 metres away from people i had only previously seen in music videos and DVDs.

Oh come on people. Dont let this thing go to page 2 yet.

He said New Zealand... We can work with that.

Someone throw a sheep gag at this thread to keep it going.

Killswitch Engage is a great band, The End of Heartache is one of my alltime favorite songs. Actually, half the songs on the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack are on my alltime favorite list. It's weird how that works.

I always wondered where the hell that is, apparently it's an island off the coast of Denmark.

yeah. you mean howard jones right? he is excellent. Really gets the crowd going. Just casue the number of sheep in NZ outnumber the people by 6:1 is no reason for a sheep gag :/

I'd laugh at you, but my country has three times as many kangaroos as people.

Hmmm. Kangaroos are pretty cool though. But IMO its not worth being surrounded by cool jumpy things to be Australian. But thats just my heavily biased one sided opinion which, in a world of billions, means little more than that of a homeless.

Well, at least we aren't permanently associated with Hobbits...

On the other hand, it's prettier there.

Yeah, as far as I know every "New" has an "Old". Unless the founders of the city just really wanted to confuse geography students.

Just let me state for the record that I am not at all interested in drinking New English 800 if it ever comes out.

    Gidday me ole cobber Dondrei

    Close but no cigar.

Denmark is made up of a number of islands and part of a peninsula sprouting above Germany. One of the islands is called Sjælland in Danish, and translates into Zealand in English.

Hehe, the old love / hate relationship between Aussies and Kiwis. Normally when we remind them that their country is made from the crap that washed down from our rivers 50,000 years ago .... or mention the words "underarm bowling" ... they slink of with their tales between their legs :wink2:

    Regards
    Syxx

That's cockney. Mind you, Australian slang is just degenerated cockney...

    Same thing.

I know Denmark is a peninsula: like most of my geography I learned it from looking at maps of the classical era. To me it'll always be the Cimbrian Chersonnese.
