    File Sharing LEGALISED in Canada

Canada takes another leap ahead with *** marriage legalised for over a year, marijuana easing up as the days pass, and now file sharing considered no more illegal than taking photocopies of textbooks at a library.

A step in the right direction? Will other nations follow suit?

This will never happen in the US. We have too many lawyers.

Well, this will open up more File-sharing sites for people in the U.S. to download. YAY! ( But why do I get the feeling that somehow it will be UNlegalized shortly?)

I already download on Bearshare. Stupid name, but it's an English (I THINK) file-sharing program that is faster than Kazaa and doesn't have viruses. Plus it doesn't fail downloading 1/2 THE TIME.

Um... here its not as much as the issue of file sharing being illegal, but what files are being shared that is. File sharing will never become illegal in the US because it would be like saying that we should ban all CD-Rs and DVD-Rs since some people choose to use that kind of media to record TV shows without permission [and sell them].
