Few basic questions about crafting and synergies...

Hello guys, I just recently came back to D2 after few years so I appologize if these questions were answered somewhere else (tried sticked but havent seen). So my questions go to the few quotations from patches, here we go :

Minor Bugs

"- Transmuting an ethereal item now retains the ethereal stats bonuses."

My question : Does "transmuting" here means also Crafted Items (orange color) or just Charsi-ed/6 Perf Skulls/Per Skull + SoJ rare and Magic items with 3 gems ?

If that means also Crafted items can keep etheraleness, can someone tell me what char/item lvl I need to have to get the possibility "Repairs durability/Replenishes quantity" for top elite items ?

Fixed Game Exploits

"- Items with skill-charging effects will no longer give synergy bonuses to
skills when equipped on a character without those skills."


Does this mean that only Proffesions which have the Skills from Charged Items can profit from the synergies ? Like Druid from Carrion ring, or Necro from Marowwalk boots, since the skills on those items are in their skill trees ? If yes, under which conditions (like do I need to have at least ?

If this is true, can someone just write few good combinations here where certain characters can benefit from these items/synergies ?

1. Crafted items can't spawn ethereal.

2. That was something that was fixed. The bug in 1.10 was that if you don't have any points invested in a skill yet, having charges of that skill would count as synergies. It was mostly known as the Marrowwalk Bug because of the biggest (ab)use of it: Bone necromancers would avoid putting points into Bone Prison and instead wear Marrowwalk boots, thus giving them a level 33 synergy from its charges, where as the most a normal synergy can go is 20 (+skills don't count for synergies). But as I said, this bug was fixed. Skills are no longer synergized by charges.
