feedback b vs new smiters
Well i finally got my new barb going and had the opportunity to duel one of the new smiters with what he claimed was 8-9k dmg range. I am a shield/axe barb, i have about 2k-4k dmg, a fairly tight range, good min, low high but i have 65% ds and 85% ow around 25k ar 20k def 50% dr. i am not the best representation of an elite barb but i usually do not have issues with smiters. these new guys do not leave much room for error. i was able to get him to about 1/6 life, then his lifetap wold go off and it seemed to near fill in 1 hit. i lost 3 of 3, but i feel with a good ranged weapon like botd ghost spear? and with the new runewords adding to its dmg the smiters will not be such an issue, i do think it will be near impossible without out-ranging them though. i have about 4k life (i know still low, im working on it) and i dropped in about 4 hits, i figure open wounds did a portion of this.
So, does anyone have any experiences with them yet, and what did u do to handle it? or is there any suggestions anyone has? Again, i am by far not the best representation of a godly dueler, but for the most part i do well, in pubs and private and the smiter i dueled really was not that great compaired to some, there was just much less margin for error
