FC weapon speed

Hi, I'm planning to make a FC/physical hybrid pvm werebear.

skill: FC (2/3x synergy), werebear, maybe lycanthropy.

I'm not sure what weapon to use. I want at least a 5 frame FC speed. I am planning to use azurewrath or griswold weapon. Will these weapons hit 5 frame FC attack ?? What other choices are there ??

6 soc phase blade with 4 shaels and 2 15% IAS + mod jewels. I like it alot.

For the max speed you need 110% IAS on a PB speed weapon. (correct me if I'm wrong)

Griswold caddy will hit 5fpa when socketed with a shael rune and 3 15IAS jewels, but Im pretty sure an Azurewrath when shael'd only hits 6fpa. That best weapon for an FC bear would be an 4x shael'd 2x 15IAS/mod jewel'd Phase blade because it hits 4fpa. Also, don't max Werebear, it doesn't help out an FC bear much.

I know pb is best for FC but this is for pvm and I need another way to deal with those fire immunes.

What about crossbows ?? What is the range of melee attack as a crossbow bear ?? Does the fireclaw damage gets carried in explosive bolts (i.e. demon machine) ??

range on bows & xbows is 1 when used in bear/wolf form

the explosive arrows require normal ranged attack. thus the druid must be in human form=)

edit: porky's suggestion on the azurewrath is a good one for FIs due to the high magic/cold damage, together with a little physical dmg. you can even use hunger for a faster attack=)

I tried 6 frame FC and its a bit too slow for my taste. Isn't hunger a bit weak and you lose out on the big fire damages. More and more I get the feeling that druid bears are inferior to bears from other classses (e.g. sorc bears).

Just use a ribby & maul for FI's.
Either that or stack up the CB on your other gear & just CB them to death.
Merc can finish them off too.

Don't forget shockwave - the most overpowered PvM skill of em all
