Fanatic Zealot or Conviction Avenger?

1. Which one of these build would be the strongest in Hell?
2. How gear defendant are they compared to each other?
3. Would either of these builds be able to beat hell?
4. Was it wise of me to choose the path of an Avenger over a Zealot?
5. How does each one deal with immunities, if they even have trouble dealing with them at all?

These are my main questions, because I would like to easily decide which type of character and not have regrets later in the game. I am definitely sure that more questions will arise. Thanks.
