Is there something you can do with that +1 to vengeance I don't know about? I just assumed that would only work for a paladin. Otherwise I don't see any elemental stats for the Slayer.
If at level twenty for all the masteries and maybe a conservative +3-4 item skill bonuses for everything you're multiplying lightning by roughly 4, fire by 3, and Cold by 1.5-2, that's going to add up pretty severely on top of the straight up magic damage and the physical bonus. Am I wrong? If you took a build and dumped everything into energy shield and then maybe the rest into static charge, that would be a pretty fearsome melee character wouldn't it? The beauty of it is that unless they're completely magic immune, you won't really have to worry about them being resistant to any one element. Of course, unless you really save up those skill points by not investing as much into ES, you're not going to max the masteries out until lvl 99. I'm just wondering if you guys think the total damage even with say, only two maxed would be strong enough. You wouldn't need to invest anything into mana and could keep dex relatively low if you're going with a two handed axe (axes seem most ideal for the bonus to demon damage and relative speed). All strength and vit?
I'm relatively knew so not sure that's enough damage to take on Hell or not. What do you guys think?
