Does the itd on faith bow work with multiple shot or do i still need high ar?

It does, and you don't. ITD works on anything that isn't an act boss (99% sure). Use guided arrow on bosses.

I believe ITD doesn't work on unique bosses and champions as well.

Yes, ITD only works on regular monsters so uniques, champions and act bosses are immune. On the other hand '- Target Defense' does work on all monster types.
