Failed to join game

Failed to join game

When I log onto open battle-net I can join other games or create my own. But when I try to join a game that my son creates or vice-versa it tells us both failed to join game. Are there any possible causes for this to happen. We both have the current patch, our own copy/key to the game, in the same room and it doesn't matter if the game is passworded or not. Any help wouldd be greatly appreciated.

A common problem : so dont worry. this sounds so Microsoft but, try restrting your comp. :: then (much to your dismay) Re-install D2 - if you dont have time, leave this last. You can also try Repairing your IP (If you have DSL) or Disconnect, then reconnect for all else. : If those things dont work im not sure. This has happend to me, and I fixed it useing either of the above. Good Luck.

I could imagine It's about the ip adress, but i know too little.
