Extra credit quest bonuses
Here are a couple of things that bothered me about D2 that I hope will be addressed in D3. In the act 5 quest where you have to kill shenk the quest says "Stop the siege by killing shenk the overseer", but on your way to shenk, there are about a zillion catapults still sieging away. You can tele past them or you can kill them all, either way you get the same reward. In a couple of the areas, you also have random NPC barbs running around attacking monsters. You can either stay with them and try to keep them alive, or you can laugh as they run into the center of a mob and get turned into ground beef. Why not add these elements into the quests? Allow the quest to be completed whether you save the barbs or let them die, but give an extra bonus (items, more xp, runes, etc) for taking the time to make sure all those retarded barbs make it through the stage.
