Exception using CoS?

Hey has anyone ever run into an exception using Cloak of Shadows around monster generators, like the mummy sarcaphagus? If so, does anyone know how to fix it?

This is DII LoD 1.10 single player. Re-install doesn't help. Only happens to me with the assassin character.

what do you mean by "exception?" I'm not sure what the problem is. Can you describe it more clearly? thanks.

 

Unhandled Exception error, which apparently happens if you cast cloak of shadows around a monster generator (like a mummy sarcaphagus, or one of those trees in act 1 that spawn those small bat thingies).

 

The game freezes and an error window pops-up.

Since I play full screen I have to alt-tab to get to the error window pop-up. Once you hit ok on that window you can alt-tab back to the game and continue as if nothing happened. Someday that procedure is likely to get me killed, not to mention it's just highly annoying.

I got nothing but the standard canned response from Bliz. Latest drivers, reinstall, latest patch, yada.. yada.. yada..
