Ever Played With No Moron, errr, merc?
Have any of you ever played the game with no moron? Sorry, Merc. I was wondering if anyone has ever finished the game from level 1, act 1 normal to finishing off Baal in hell, with no merc. I haven't.
They draw monsters away from you, which you need in HC. Might is a very helpful aura. An act 5 tank would be helpful to those necros or druids who do very little phy. damage in hell.
If you have, please post some of your strategy. I have thought about it in the past. No matter how much of a moron your merc is, I would think it would be very difficult to play without one.
