[EURScL] need advice => what to put in azure?

hi all,
hope this is the right subforum to put this in..
could anyone enlighten me what rune i should put in my azurewrath?
the character using it is a zealot

i could also put an ed jewel in it, but only have a 32ed one, and i thought maybe an extra ability would be better than extra damage
i thought maybe shael or amn...
i have 50 ias (30 azure & 20 andy vis) + the 36 ias bonus from fanatism
lifeleach is at 23% at the moment
i even considered an eth (-25% monster def, maybe?)

help me out here please, as im totally clueless :grin:

Wasn't the right forum, but I'll answer anyway:

A Phase Blade has a base damage of 31-35. This means that 30%ED will be 9.3 (rounded to 9) - 10.5 (rounded to 10) extra damage. any jewel which adds more than 19 damage (any combination of min/max) will be just as good. You do not seem to need any additional IAS either. An eth rune wouldn't be a bad choice, but far from "optimal".

You might even want to go for something like a 15% allresist jewel, or some other jewel with defensive stats (def/life comes to mind) or even UM for the open wounds. Low on str/dex? A jewel here could help, as 9/9 jewels do exist.

that really cleared things up for me :grin:
i think im going to wait til i can get my hands on a nice ed+other nice mod jewel then, too bad azure's dont have "ignore target defense" as lightsabres do though

and by the way, sorry for being in the wrong forum, after 3 days of no reply i finally figured out i should have put this in the paladin forum :rolleyes:

anyways, thx again, now i know what to put into it without "wasting" an azurewrath, after all, its my favorite weapon in the entire game :grin:
