I added nirlem's details, might well be afew unkowns but as long as everyone is there for fun and isnt just going to be grabbing every gold tinted object they see then the more the merrier

It will be tricky to get 8player games with all people you know because of different times people can be online and then of course peoples differeing lvls. when we get to lvl90+ baal running we can cut down to only the people we really trust if wanted because it gets easier then

Hardys point was that he prefers to play with people he already knows and trust 98% (like me, I've drop traded with him more than once, but we're still "internet strangers" even if those few trades went without trouble). I understand completely, and for really really dedicated play, I would have expected the same. However, in the OP I tried to convey that I was NOT going to rush things, but still play faster and more dedicated than most casual players. I don't have the time to play 24/7 anymore, but would still love to go with a group which plays dedicated towards a common goal, namely being amongst the top players.

@HardyTarget: I hope you will come with the larger group, at least to begin with. It doesn't take very long to sort out eventual "bad seeds", and anyway everyone's free to play the game the way (s)he wants to. On a side note, I'd probably join a ETF "old timers" "clan", but I'd play with the larger group for the first couple of days/weeks anyway because the benefit of being in a good party is greater than the risk of one or two good drops being "ninjaed".

but ti lvl fast 8player games are kind of needed

and yes hel I realize you said not toally hardcore in the OP, this has kind of mutated so that there will be multiple games and people on at different times. it is tricky to co-oridnate a small elite group for a specific time.

I've been a member of the SPF for 2½ years and started missing some ladder racing.
I'm going light sorc 97+, playing as much as my physique can handle for the first few days atleast :badteeth:
Amongst my SP chars you'll find a 97 blizzard sorceress and a 96 hammerdin, I know what amount of time we're looking at.

Yes you're right Helvete, I was hesitant to sign up on this thread initially for being an unknown quantity. It's why I made a thread of my own. I agree with angel and rik and understand the worries of the regulars. This may form into a more solid, smaller group of ladder climbers as attrition takes its toll.

Hi, I'd love to join up with you guys if that's okay. At first I was a bit reluctant to sign up for this, not really knowing anyone and having trust issues and such hehe, but I've been reading these forums a lot lately and the majority of people seem really nice and trustworthy, so I'm looking forward to some fun gaming experiences. Besides, like Helvete said, good party > a few drops getting ninjaed.

Anyway, my build, I have the most experience with sorcs, but seeing how the list is already crawling with sorcs, I think I'm gonna try out a pala with conviction as main aura. I've never built one before and I have no idea how it's gonna work out, but oh well
