Ethereal items

    Ethereal items

    i want to get an ethereal weapon and it says cannot be repaired, but it also has a durability....does thta mean if it breaks im screwed?

    Definately. With ethereal items you get 50% more damage or defense, but suffer 50% less durability (well -50% + 1) and the item is destroyed once the durability is 0.

    This can be avoided by:

    - Giving the item to your mercenary (as long as they can equip it)
    - Place a Zod in the item
    - The items has a self-repair mod (such as Hone Sundan).

    what does placing a zod in it do? and how does that avoid it

    A Zod rune makes the item Indestructible. In 1.09 there was a bug with this, but has been fixed fortunately.
