Eth Zod'd Shaftstop/Vampgaze?

Both of which have decent stats and not yet uped.

The question is, are they anything more than decent merc gears nowaday? Is there any value for them in PvP? I fancy the idea of using old school PvP gears, but have no idea as to how effective as of now.

the shaft can be used by a zealer/charger.
the gaze if eth zoded i don't think is useful in pvp .
