    Eth vs Jah

I see alot of people putting triple eths in their aldur's rhythm other then obvious fact that jah are very rare. is there any reason to use an eth over a jah?

Uh I don't know that you get style points for Aldurs ... If it was a caster, Ignore Target Defense from Jah wouldn't apply because you have no attack rating. However -target def from 3x eth runes is a cheap and easy way to help a low level caster.

-% to target def lowers their defense by a certain amount, depending on how much they have.

Ignore target defense removes attack rating from the equation when calculating the attack.

Spell casters/mages don't use attack rating, so -% target defense would be more beneficial unless you wanted to waste facets in the aldurs mace.

Ignore target defense would be better for a melee druid, but again, its silly to waste a jah in an aldurs mace.

-target defense does not help casters in any way, because defense is only relevant for skills with to-hit checks

-target defense cuts the defense of the target by said amount, but by half the amount (12.5% for 1 eth rune) if the target is a unique/minion/champion/player

ignore target's defense ignores the defense, making the to-hit check only dependent on attackerlvl and defenderlvl, this does not work at all on unique/champion/minion/player
