    Eth crystal sword

I found an ethereal crystal sword in the arcane sanctuary (normal).

If I socket it with the cube recipe, what's the max amount of holes it can get?

    Edit:

I knwo crystal swords can get 6. I'm just not sure if it's the case with this low ilvl. I read something a couple of years back that ilvl (or qlvl or 'whatever'lvl) matters, regarding getting max sockets.

Item level does indeed matter...although I'm not sure how exactly..but higher=more sockets. I think the max number of sockets in normal is 3 and then 4 in nightmare and then full amount of sockets in Hell.

I was under the impression that dii.net is not 100% uptodate, though I may be wrong. I think those pages might have been valid at some point in, pre 1.1 time.

From act 2 Normal, max number socks = 3.

Max number of socks in Norm = 4. IIRC thats from act 4 onward.

    Hope that helps.

You're right in that sometimes they're not 100% accurate, however in this case they are correct.
