Rip solar.

I actually did check the date. It was a sell by date of sometime in late February iirc. Seemed fine to me.

Damn you stegs!

Also why didn't you just stick the eggs in water and see if they float?

Went out for a better dinner today for our 10th wedding aniversary. Booked a table at a restaurant we were very happy with last year. When we arrived they had "lost" our booking. The girl at the reception found it as cancelled after a while and could restore it. Very friendly waiters there and the food was great until my main course. It was Crispy Duck which was their signature dish. Quite expensive too. It tasted like cardboard. Duck was overcooked, hadn't seen any seasoning and wasn't crispy at all. I normally don't complain, but this time I thought it really should have been better for the amount of money they charged for it. They asked if I wanted something else, but I just shared hubby's main course which was excellent. Went out for a smoke and when I got back hubby said that dessert was on the house and they appologized profoundly for the bad dish. We ended up with a free dessert and not paying for my main dish and even an excuse from the floor manager on our way out. That's about the best customer service in a restaurant I have experienced. We will be returning there for sure. Everything except my main course was very high quality food and soooo delicious.

*wine please*

Happy anniversary Moar.

Crispy duck is GREAT when done right. Not sure how they overcooked it and still didn't get it crispy though!

And yes, nice customer service is a rare thing. :)

Thanks. :)

I visited a friend in London some years ago and she took us to a chinese restaurant in Soho where I tasted the most delicious crispy duck you could imagine. I'll never forget that.

Edit: Our theory on the duck is that they forgot to season it, then overcooked it and let it rest too long on the dispatch so the crispy went cardboard. It was not really hot when I got it so that supports that theory.

I have finished my bottles and woken up from the ensuing coma. I feel I should explain why the sudden switch to hooch from my Dew: Crepegirl is no longer Crepegirl. She, as of 7:30 last night, is just...girl. Lowercase.

I need another drink.
~smh~ for you!

[/SIZE]Older cars are great for key issues. I lost my car keys down a field once and grabbed a guy in the carpark with the same make of car and he opened my car, so I could drop the dog off while I looked for mine. (It was rainy, not hot.) I always used to keep keys of cars I'd scrapped incase I needed them. I used to use the ignition key from one car and the door key from another to get into and start my car.
XD Very funny.

Did someone just lock their car in their spare bedroom? HTH does that happen?
Other way round. Up until yesterday, I leave my spare bedroom key in my car, just so if I lose/misplace my keys, I know I can still get access to my bedroom if I have access to my car.

Great hearing all these old car stories. I'm just surprised about how easy it was for him to break into my car for me.

Happy anniversary!

Mathematically, terminal velocity—without considering buoyancy effects—is given by
where
= terminal velocity,
= mass of the falling object,
= acceleration due to gravity,
= drag coefficient,
= density of the fluid through which the object is falling, and
= projected area of the object

Terminal velocity doesn't have anything to do with what it takes to kill someone.

It's my wife's fault I got to bed late.
