re watching part of that video ( a little before it the linky starts), it makes me sad that people live like that. Drugs drugs drugs. I used to live like that. Get all drugged up and go out to eat and whatever. Stupid. Sad. Very sad that one must do that to feel. I wish that everyone that's stuck in that live could get out and live without that cakecakecakecake. Thank you for that video, drystan, it helped me remember what I came from and the live I once lived. Also, that I'm not that man anymore. I am a new man! Don't need cake!

Never been adicted to drugs (minus to a point alcohol,) nor tempted or want to have drugs frequently. I just don't see the need. How long have you been clean, coju?

I just hate that people like Rhianna are role models. There (is/was) a comment on that video along the lines of 'they [Rhianna/Chris Brown] are such a cute couple.' That's sickening. Young people think a cute couple is a guy who beats a woman senseless, and a stupid girl who takes him back, while writing a song telling people to stay out of her business. And then this type of song...
The guy starts singing "Girl I wanna **** you right now (right now)"... Seriously? Yeah, really good image to send to kids. Of course people will complain that it is their business, when you spout and teach your fans, their kids, that this type of behaviour and attitude is acceptible.

Parents should just tech there kids right, then people like Rhianna are less influential. Of course you can only do so much, but it helps.

I wanted cake and needed $3.50 to get some. Someone remembered that only LNM's want $3.50, and the rest is history. I may deny it all later, we'll see :D

(started fall of '05)
Hard drugs since 2006. (cocaine, ecstasy, pain pills, benzos (xanax, clonapin) )
Dextromethorphan since 2011 (only did since it was easy to access and I didn't have to 'tell' anyone I was doing it.)
Cannabis since last week or so.
Caffeine since a little while ago.
Alcohol since last night. (just a shot)

The last two I've never really had any 'trouble' with, as being addicted, per-say, or really wanting to do them/have it.
Yes, I agree completely with what you say a/b Rhi and chris. People blame video-games for the problems of the youth these days, but what happened to the studies saying that one witnesses 1000+ murders a year on television alone? Then this 'hannabil' show on NBC coming out? No wonder we're killing each other like it's nothing.
Music especially. Someone told me it' always been there, (60's 70s music) but they at least 'hid' it per-say, until you got older and realized what they said.
Now it's like what you mentioned, and 'let's plan a robbery' 'lets go shoot up the west hood side' 'i got my gat 9 what what' 'go kill yo self' 'woogee boogee'
If you really want to know what it's all about, just listen to the hokie pokie.

Videogames were never the issue. And if people think bad things like violence should be banned, then they should start with the news. Why? Well what is often shown there: wars, car crashes (violence), floodings, famine etc (not suitable for children), politicians (= mostly lying and justifying stealing is ok = bad rolemodels).

Edit: Mechanic came by to fix the heat. He found out that not only the valve for the heat wasn't functioning anymore, but also the one for hot water wasn't as it should be (didn't have problems with that yet, but wouldn't have taken long anymore before it would). So he replaced both. Great service from them to fix it on such short notice. Not so happy about the costs though. Just the 2 valves set me back with about 160 euro's. Anyway, now i'm gonna enjoy the fact that the temperature here is rising to acceptable levels again :).
