Hi Twibz. Very warm, dry winds in Victoria over the past week or two, but nothing too serious around my area. A couple of people lighting fires, which makes it that much worse... Hopefully they'll be caught soon.
Tasmania has copped quite a bit though.

Just popping by to complain about the weather. Onsite over the weekend and it is going to be 50 Celsius (122 fahrenheit) FML.

Wow, serious, cakes? That is insanely hot! Best of luck keeping cool, and drink plenty of water. I know it's obvious advice, but dehydration and heat stress/fatigue is very dangerous in those conditions.

Also, forums on weekends is okay.

Yeah, this hot, dry weather brings out quite a few arsonists. AFAIK, most are natural fires though, although there have been numerous "camping fires" that have not been extinguished properly and have gotten out of control - on days of a Total Fire Ban!!!

I drove near there a number of years back. I was driving on the 80 and took a detour at Cheyenne. Settled down in Golden for a week or so and took the obligatory brewery tour Drove home through a blizzard tailgating a snow sweeper, was one hell of an experience!
