for a low 20s SP Summoner with a few point in 3 fire skills.
this is a tough call since at a low lvl you cant use any good stuff. I read somewhere in a guide that khalims flail is great to mule to a low lvl character and i'd imagine it would but i havent tried it. Any of the normal unique weapons are good if you're leaning towards melee. i used the crushflange mace until a couple meph runs produced a hellplague long sword. but i lean towards melee. if you're looking to use those fire skills my only suggestion is to make a Leaf (TirRal) staff for +3 to fire skills. other useful runewords are Steel and Mailce. IMO malice is better because you can get more damage and 100% open wounds = lots of bleeding which means more damage. If you chose malice you'll need to have at least +5 replenish life which is easily obtained with angelic halo set ring or most any rare item. most players consider the angelic ring/ammy combo to be one of the best set items combos in the game and i agree (the AR boost is just plain sick and the mf bonus is nice too). i use this combo on most my characters until the clvl 50s. You cant go wrong with an ancient's pledge (rw) shield. Sigons full set is also nice at low lvls if you can get it all but most players would prolly settle for boots/gloves/belt combo. I like the shield for the +1skills and high block % and the armor has nice defense and 30% res light.
i would imagine something like this:

Helm| nice pelt with good + skills| sigon's
ammy| angelic(i reccomend) or good rare
rings| 2x angelic never hurts but one and good rare work well
boots| sigon's| any unique or good rare
belt| sigon's(melee) | artic binding(will help vs duriel)
gloves| sigon's(melee)| magefist(caster)|any other unique
armor| sigon's(melee) | stealth(TalEth)(caster)| unique
sheild| Ancient's pledge| sigon's(if youre wearing rest of set)
weapon| Malice(melee)| Leaf(caster)| unique(axe,mace,sword)|khalims will

some of this stuff will be a little harder to find (unless you mule but i dont imagine you do) in low 20s (sigons armor) but most can easily be traded for and all items listed can be dropped by normal meph. im guess at low lvl you'll have to rely a lot on melee comabt hence the strong emphasis.

Hi and welcome to the druid forum. Hmm SP. Well, for my untweaked (this means characters that have not muled equiptment) summoner I start of hitting things with clubs until about lvl 12. After that I pick up a bow. With an act 2 blessed aim merc (offensive) you will not need much dex to hit things. Your minions will let you stand back and pluck away. Gambling to find a good rare bow what I usually do. You have some fire skills, which ones? Fissure is nice and can get you through norm and nm no problem. What is you build idea? Good luck

All I really asking for is equipment suggestions, I don't need help obtaining them.

I don't believe in builds, they take the fun out of the game as it becomes a job to assign points in a specific way at a specific time to match the build just so you can compete. My characters may resemble various builds because there are certain skills that are just better than others, but a build plan is too much like playing someone else's character to me. This particular character is mostly a summoner with more than 85% of his potential skill points dedicated to making his wolves stronger. However he has 3 points each in Firestorm and Fissure, with only the 1 required point to Molten Boulder to get to Fissure. Since I posted this I've leveled him up 3 times, so now he level 25 and is in the normal difficulty River of Fire. I've found several nice pelts that will be nice at level 30(my equipment is as much for looks as it is benefit and the "rams head" type are my prefered style, I like Ringmails, scale mails, Plate Mails or anything with second stage type shoulders, preferably a dark primary color(like Darkglow)) that wi

I think builds are great I don't completely copy them I use them like guidelines. They give me ideas for equipment and help me make my own sorta unique build. Give me ideas to try making my own.
