enchantress help - skills?

So Ive read all 3 enchantress guides and one thing that conflicted in all of them was the "recommended" ways to use the extra skill points after 20/20/20 enchant/warmth/FM. Now Im pretty new to D2 so I dont have quite the grasp yall do of the insane amount of equipment stats there are out there; thus, for the time being i just wanna know some info on skills.

I was thinkin boosting coldmastery and using azurewrath(hopefully) would be the best way to deal with fire immunes in hell. I could also get some great cold dmg charms to help out. This doesnt seem very popular...why not?

Another option i was thinkin would be to go with blizzard. Pros? cons?

Ugh i cant think straight today...

The easiest thing is probably to get Frozen Orb; I've heard Blizzard only beats Orb if you have lots of points to spend on it. Orb chills monsters for ages, so you can use it in your normal monster fighting every so often to keep everything around you nice and slow, as well as using it more heavily against fire immunes. Of course, this doesn't stop you stocking up on cold gear as well to take advantage of CM.

I'd also recommend at least 5 points (incl. +skills) in Static, as this makes everything so much easier, especially in party play. Static is a much-underrated skill - its strength is that it needs no mastery, synergies or even much direct investment to be effective.

You will not be able to do enough damage with Shiver armor to be noticeable, even with CM. Dismiss that idea..... Simply pump Shiver Armor for the added defense and the chilling/slowing of monster on attack.

Going Frozen Orb route is also nice, since you actually get another killing skill.

Maxing Cold Mastery and using a weapon with LOTS LOTS of cold damage would also work.

hmmm how does the +1 vengence from kingslayer work out? it says adds all 3 elemental damages to attack, but does that mean my sword would have:

50-200 physical
50-200 cold
50-200 lightning
50-200 fire

? how does this work?

Famine looked like an *awesome* weapon for this build...anyone tried it?
Im still not sure if i wanna pump LM or CM...it all depends on what weapon i choose. I think im leaning toward CM, as azurewrath also looks nice.

Please talk to me about which way yall think best... CM or LM?!

Place 1 in CM and the rest in LM, CM only reduces resistance so a slvl 17 CM is really the highest you need, but lower slvl's are not uncommon goals. 1 in CM with +skills will bring it plenty high for an enchantress. LM only multiplies the top damage on skills but on added elemental damage it works the same as fire mastery it adds to the elemental damage as a straight %. 1-200 from an item is worth more than 1-200 from lightning as a skill. This is because 1-200 with 100% added from lightning mastery on an item would grant 2-400 where as a lightning skill would grant 1-400. This may not sound like much but when you look at the 50-200 lightning damage on your weapon it means a whole lot more.
