Enchant my Foot... literally

I searched the FAQ and forum and could find no one asking this....

Does enchant affect my boots? I want to use Dragon Talon Kick and was thinking of carrying a demon limb for when the going got tough.

Technically - a boot isn't a weapon - but it does carry damage.

enchant effects your melee and ranged attacks not your weapons. So yes it should work.

Think about it this way a punching barb is effected by enchant why shouldn't an assassin foot be enchanted too.

But it is specific to what you have "armed" at the time, right? Because otherwise, you could use any weapon, but if you switch weapons, the enchant is gone.

Characters are Enchanted / enVenomed / whatever, not weapons. So switch weapons as much as you like.

Oh... odd, I guess since the weapon turned red (and the one on the switch did not nor does it carry the stat boost) I figured it wasn't enchanted. This is quite a paradigm shift.

Venom works the same way. In fact, the only (major) difference between Venom and Enchant is that you can't cast Venom on other players/minions/mercs.
