That's a great idea! Who's going to judge it though?

Employee of the week and you get to park closer to the building... hmmm... anyone else see something wrong with that? Surely they should give you a day off or extra meal tickets or something...

Or let you choose a package out of the "undeliverable/lost packages room".

(Not sure if UPS even has such a thing)

Congrats Jigga! Have one on the OTF!

I won employee of the year for my division a few years ago (about 800 employees). Of all the scholarships, awards, and distinctions I have recieved the employee of the year one is the one that seems to impress employeers the most. Definately put it on your resume.

I once had an employee of the month for a computer reseller I used to work for. Being the youngest(24 years old) at the time in the service department made me a target for countless arrows slung at me by the middle-aged old timers. I hated the way the company was run, I clamored for change, I wanted things to be faster, I rocked the boat.

But I also worked hard - and earned the coveted "service award" parking spot. Hell it was just a parking spot, but I did abuse the length of time I parked there a little ;)

They do it so you spend less time getting out of your car and into your office, so spend more time working, and thus make the company richer. Its all a big scam, fight the system and park at the back of the carpark!

I never get employee of the anything...I just do what I am told and go above and beyond my job description.

Since I work in the office and am privy to finances, I am the last to get a raise and bonus.
