lol nice one PLF.

I too have SAID some VEEERY stupid things in my drunken moments. One time I was walking around the house lobby going around playing guitar and singing "you broke the rules, now I'll pull out all you puuuubic haaaair" from that tenacious D song... to a bunch of girls. :stoned:

PLF, I'm almost embarrased to write down one of my embarrasing moments considering the time and effort that you put into your story. :whistle:

One of my MANY embarrasing moments came when I was about 17 years old. Thankfully, it only happened in front of my family and not friends or strangers. Unfortunately it happened in front of my family and they've been giving me crap about it for over 15 years now.

I was getting dressed up for some event (can't remember the occasion exactly), but it required me to put on slacks, shirt, and a tie. Now... I'd never been a "dress up" kind of guy, so I didn't own very many dress-up clothes - and I only wore them when I absolutely had to. As a result, I think I owned like 2 pairs of slacks... and given my age, I had apparently outgrown them in the two years since they had been purchased for me.

Anyhow, I go to put on the pants and walk out to the living room where my mother and sister were. Both of them commented that the pants looked a little tight on me. Of course I was offended that they would suggest I might be too big for my pants, so I said "they aren't too tight at all... I can move in them just fine" - and proceeded to squat in them. I said "see?" as I bounced up and down a few times to hit home the point that they were, in fact, ok for me to wear.

On the third demonstration of this, my pants decided that the jig was up, and promptly split down the middle from the front of the crotch all the way up the crack of my butt. The pants actually split even more just to mock me. My mother and sister proceeded to laugh their asses off at my expense. To this day I am still given much crap about my "deep knee bends".

I dunno PLF... your story is way more involved and intricate... I'd imagine it should get extra points for the setup of the scenario more than the simplicity of simple embarrassment. ;)

Ananakla, I'll award you the "Captain Oblivous" award for your maneuver. Sadly, I have earned this award at more than one point in my earlier years with a female as well.

A small example from HS...

Really cute girl (to me): "So... are you going to prom?"
Me: "Uh, I don't know"
Really cute girl: "Yeah, I'd really like to go to prom - but no one has asked me yet"
<awkward silence>
Me: "I can't believe no one has asked you yet"
Really cute girl: "Nope, not yet"
<more awkward silence>
Me: "well, have a good day"
<dipwad (that, being me) walks away>

Worst Mistake of Mine Life

I still kick myself over this one. The situation is the same as Anakhahaha and Lunar, invloving a girl that liked me (hehe, yes this is possible). As I already stated, I still kick myself over this, since it was not just one encounter, but the fact that the girl involved dropped massive hints at me over the course of the semester, and me being the naive fool that I was did not pick up on it.

The two biggest hints which I chose to ignore were:

1) her asking me out on a date (to which I acted like a five year old and just mumbled something silly) :grrr:

2) her giving me a valentines card which she made herself, and me being like, wow thanks, and going back to programming. :teeth:

Wow, just thinking about this now makes me feel like crying, :hanky: since even though she wasn't super hot, she was definitely someone you would take a second look at.

Arggggggghhh. I need some Triple Black to drown my sorrows in now. (and I don't wanna hear anything about my choice of drink)

But I wasn't even really embarrassed about it, despite the fact that it got put in the school paper. Actually I was in it multiple times that weekend. Hrm. At least my name (or photos thank God) weren't attached. Wouldn't that make a great smear campaign photo -- presidential candidate found handcuffed to a girl pantsless in the middle of a frat house -- and his last name isn't even Bush! </bad political humour>

My moment just isn't that embarrassing, as I never get teased for it. You on the other hand...
