Eh?...

Okay, so I was in a public hell game helping with ancients. I was beating down on Madawc, and then the other ancients started to come near me. Then I noticed something, there was another guy throwing stuff at me. I highlighted him and it was another Madawc... Somehow it spawned two of them, while keeping Korlic and Talic.


This is a screenshot of it. It's pretty bad because I was trying not to die as all 4 of them were chasing me.

No, I didn't kill. Only one person other than me stayed, and I wasn't going to tank 4 ancients.

Okay, this makes sense. When I got to summit Ancients were out(some sorc was trying to kill us with that.) I reset them when they were near the Ancient's Way gate, so that might explain why one of the Madawc's was sitting there attacking.

Hmm, just a number of things I'm curious about here.

The Madawc to the left doesn't appear to have a shadow. Though I'm not 100% sure the engine casts shadows on things like the gateway, there isn't one by his feet either. This may be something to do with the angle he's standing at though, as there isn't one under the pally either and they're standing at the same angle.

The other thing I'm not sure about is the fact that the supposedly uneditted one called "Screenshot17.jpg"... despite the fact that if Diablo2 had created it and he'd posted it directly, it would be called "Screenshot017.jpg". Why bother renaming it just to remove a zero, unless one had editted it and then resaved it, forgetting that there should have been a zero there..? ;)

Of course, if the American version of D2 names its screenshots without the zero, then ignore this. But I doubt that..

Just checked out the screenies... looks like he was telling the truth. And to be fair I don't see why he'd put in all the effort of photoshopping something like that..

So Phantom, sorry about my earlier skepticism (I can never remember, is it scepticism or skepticism?). No offense intended by it..

(Hopes he never has to fight 4 Ancients at once)

Seriously, if I was going to Photoshop that, don't you think I'd make it a bit more clear as to what it what? As opposed to having two ancients half on-screen and one frozen.

Considering we don't know how to get them stuck, we can't exactly test it. I would assume so, but you'd probably have to be trying. Also another inquiry is if they stay around if you TP when you have more than 3(like, once you activate again, are they still there.)

Mine does that too - if I build up too many screenies in the directory without cleaning them out. It shows 3 digit in the directory but everywhere else is just the 2 digits.

PS Very nice screenies! I would have run screaming in terror and possibly needed a change of clothes if it happened to me.

PPS to the disbelievers - I have seen phantom come off rude and he can be cranky but I have never seen him lie.

That's due to the host he put it on. I had the same thing happen with several screenies of mine I put on there.
