Effects and summons...

I've heard something about wearing deadly strike/open wounds/crushing blow gear, and it will give to summons from people in game. Is this true? Can anyone confirm this? Or was what I heard false?

It's not correct: Your summons cannot have DS/OW/CB. Only your character and your merc (if he is wearing equipment) benefit from that.

Your summons can only benefit from auras and from curses that are cast on monsters.
