It's Ed/Max jewels that are bugged when placed in Armor.

    Ed/Ias jewels are just fine.

And ed/min. ed/max and ed/min are bugged, ed/anything else is fine, as Al said.

Doh, missed that one... time for bed.

Hal, What is the exact nature of the bug??

Is it just the +Damage part that isn't counted or does it affect the Ed% in anyway...

I'm thinking it's just the +damage that's ignored, but I'd like to be certain.

No worries, I had your back ;)

You'd have to ask Zoso about that, he was pretty close to nailing the actual formula figures. I'm not sure exactly how it's screwed up, all I know is that you can get more damage from just a plain ed jewel than you can from an ed/max or min socketed in armor now.

That's something else to point out: they're only bugged in armor/helm/shields. If you put an ed/max/min in weapons, they work fine. Not like that really matters though, since you're probably gonna be using either a runeword weapon, or something that you'd rather stick an ed/ias jewel in to break swing/whirl frames.
