ebotdz/beastz vs ebotdgpa on WW

What would be the better option of the 2 for a bvc?
Im not sure which will add up to more damage, or more hits, but i do like the idea of an ebotdgpa for the extra range, no need for repairing beast, and extra style points:cool:

EBotdGPA does not get to the damage-levels of Grief+Beast. Yes, the on-weapon damage of EBotdGPA is higher than that of Grief+Beast. However, the Grief+Beast setup will always have 211% more ED and of course the DS on Grief.

If u cant get grief zerk, second best option is ebotdz/beastz. Ebotd gpa have 5 range wich is usefull vs smiters + extra style points like u say but i would choose botd/beast over gpa.

but with range 5 shouldnt you get more checks = more damage. And safer game.

You would, theoretically, if nobody teleported. The thing is, Lancers used to be the most awesome thing out there because of the range advantage of their whirl. Now that Enigma's out, everybody and their grandmother have teleport, thus everybody's telejumping you, or you're telejumping them. When a smiter hops directly onto your head, your range 5 doesn't matter anymore. When you jump on a sorc's head your range 5 doesn't matter, it's all about whether you deal enough damage to kill her and the two weapons give more hit checks, and more damage. If you want a safer game, then you need to get yourself a shield instead, not more range. If you want more killing power, the two weapons are your way to go.

That said, I second the comment about style points. Honestly, having other people think you're badass seems to be about 2/3 of the game.

The one thing that I'm still wondering about the range mattering for is telezerking, since in that case you are forced to remain stationary during your attack - and if your opponent is WW, running away, or engaged in any non-teleport form of locomotion your additional range might be enough to still reach them by the time your attack finishes. Also, being a two handed weapon it'd deal pretty kickass damage.
