    Earth, Wind and Fire.

Heh, I went ahead and made yet another character.

This time I wanted to try out an elementalist druid, with a twist. See, instead of specialising in one branch I want to make a druid who can use both wind and fire.

My idea would be to go for maxin two of the fire skills and 2½-3 of the wind skills.

My question would be: What fire skills to master: My original idea was doing Fissure and Volcano, but I am beginning to think about going Molten Boulder instead of Fissure for more variety.

With the wind skills I was contemplating going Cyclone Armor/Tornado/Hurricane.

Another question is whether it is advisable to one-point-wonder Oak Sage or you really need a more heavy investment in order to make it survive.

well, you can really only max 4 skills, as you have prereqs and skills that you need, but onylput some points in. and realistically, you wont get getting further than lvl 90ish, so i always plan for lvl 85 completion, then have a skill or 2 to add points in if i get past that.
the fire skills for druid suck. thee not muchdebae for that, but id go for 2 that synergize each other and have high dmg. your pick though as ive never taken a druid past act 5 norm.

I am aware of the problem and realistically I was really shooting for

    20 Molten Boulder/Fissure
    20 Volcano

    20 Tornado
    15 Hurricane

Rest in Cyclone Armor and Oak Sage.

yeah... duel elimentalists arent that great these days, they need powerful skills, and a lot of skillls only get powerful with many synergies.

AE just guardianed a Firecaster druid, so it is not impossible to do it. But surely if you divide the points like this, you will not have synergies enough. Anyway, I would go with:

    Volcano for damage
    Boulder for knockback
Hurricane as cast and forget skill (watch out for the 10 sec. casting delay!)
    Tornado for damage
    Cyclone Armor for defense/longer hurricane.
Don't know about OS, the level 5 one from natures peace doesnt last a minute in hell. Instead, you may consider some points in ravens/wolves/bear for meat shields.
And lots of PDR and a blocking shield if you go with no OS
I think AE said HF Merc with slow stuff so that enemies remain over the volcanoes. Sounds like a good idea. Take a look at his post, it was yesterday, I think.
