E Stone or E CoH

Simple question. I've e-bugged 2 armors, a wyrmhide (around 1000 def) and a hellforge plate (around 1100 def). Both of them got 4 sockets.

Since I'm N-L, Fort is out of the picture. I also don't think Bramble will do much good for a merc, so this leaves me with Stone and CoH.

Any experiences/thoughts?

A merc doesn't need the 65% res bonus and leech from CoH. Something like 15% res is already enough and Stone adds just that much. Regarding leech, there are lots of helms for that, like Andariel's visage (the best, but it's ladder only), a CoT, Tal's helm, Vampire Gaze, or you have it on the weapon and use Guillaume's. I'm also a bit reluctant to equip stupid mercs with gear which is worth more than a HR (the only exception is Infinity) and Stone is cheaper, it can be made from HF runes. On NL I would go for Stone if I had to decide between the two.

eStone between the two; if you have an HR to spare eFortitude is probably the best merc armor.

I would go with Stone for sure. His defense and FHR will be awesome

Thanks for your input

The only reason I considered CoH was that it covered resists and leech, which allows the merc to use a Dream or Deli for the Confuse CtC. Guess it's not worth it...

Btw, would Infy's aura stay if the merc morphs with Deli?
