I am in the market for a new car, and I have been searching for cars with the restriction of $.01 and $1000 (willing to go into the 5k range) and I have been finding the crap cars you would expect, but also very nice cars a few Mercedes here and there, a Dodge Ram, etc.
All these have tons of pictures with them, but then in the description (fine print almost) it says the pictures may or may not be accurate upon time of shipping and there is no guarntee or warranty of any kind most of the time. What do you think this means, could the pictures be of the car when it was brand new and then I'll get a rusty piece of junk?
Just wondering if any of you know anyone that has experience buying/selling cars over the internet and how it works out. Was everyone satisfied
As far as getting the car, my grandfather has an 18-wheeler he uses to haul farm equipment to auctions, so I would be fine getting the car from the seller.
Do you think its safe to buy a car that normally wouldn't go that cheap if it was sold at a dealership or on the side of the road?
