    Duress armor question

    Hey!

I've got the necessary runes to make a duress armor for my trapkicker, but the only 3sock armor I have atm is a breast plate... Should I wait for a better armo to drop with 3 sockets or woudn't the loss in defence really matter?

    Cheers

Kickers need a bunch of strength for their boots, so I see no reason why you wouldn't make it in a lightweight Elite armor (Dusk Shroud/Wyrmhide/Archon Plate/etc.). Defense will never be all that reliable for an Assassin, but it doesn't hurt to have more.

    What Nagisa said.

I'd wait for that lightweight elite. It'll be worth it and they aren't too hard to get hold of or too expensive... plus a breast plate doesn't look as pretty...

I would find something better, Duress is for your kicker now, but you could use it in future for other characters, and they may like defence, and it comes with a nice def bonus (also its not ShaelHelUm, I've just corrected the wiki to ShaelUmThul)

@ LHtB - thanks for the Wiki correction.

I'd wait for an Archon Plate. I'm notoriously tight but ... breast plate wouldn't do it for me.

    Re: Duress armor question

Upon further review, the Wiki is kind of messed up.

    1) Crescent Moon/Delirium: The 1.10 beta stats are listed.
    2) Bramble: The poison damage is wrong (100%, instead of 25%-50% or 69%-207%).
    3) Call to Arms: The 1.10 stats are listed.

Any ideas? It'd be easy enough to fix them, but I'm not sure what to do with RWs with stats that changed between patches.

EDIT: Clarified Bramble/Delirium/Call to Arms/Crescent Moon (1.10 beta VS 1.10/1.11b). There are at least a few more discrepancies/errors from what I can tell. Anyone have a list of 1.09/1.10a/1.10s RWs?

List the damage and state the patch to which it pertains.

Archon Plate...cause I like how it looks when I open the char screen.
And it's the best compromise between strength req and defense.

However, you might use it for other chars, so why not go with Dusk Shroud.
You can use it earlier that way since...
clvl req of Um = 47
clvl req of Dusk Shroud = 49

    Others have...
clvl req of Wyrmhide = 50
clvl req of Archon Plate = 63

And, of course, Dusk Shroud has the lowest strength req.

And yes, the +%defense would be wasted if you use a low def armor, imo.

I prefer a dusk shroud and in fact depending on your mod status I would be happy to donate a 3 socket DS
