Duped Stuff Questions

Like I said in an earlier post I am quite new to B.net...so I have some questions.

- How safe is it to trade, especially things like runes?

- If you have a low level duped rune and use it with other legit runes to upgrade it will ruststorm kill it? (Not that anyone would really dupe low level runes anyway, hopefully).

- With 1.10 did the patch stop people duping or are there still methods that will jeopordise the D2 economy?

Other general questions I have are:

- Is there somewhere that I can get b.net instructions for commands? I want to know how to msg people who are online, How do I see more games to join (eg. I have completed Normal and can no longer see normal games, only nightmare)?

I think thats about it from this noob.

1) There is the risk that it is most likely a dupe. Chances are over 90 % chance that it is a dupe depending on the rune. It could also have been upgraded to make it safe.

2) It should be safe after the upgrade.

3) There are still ways to dupe.

4a) To message somebody from another game:
/w *account-name Message

4b) Once you have finished normal with a character you can not see normal games anymore with that character.

This is correct. But mattyjizm, an easy way to join normal games with a character who has completed that difficulty, is checking the game list with another character who is still in Normal, remember the name of the game you want to join, and then join with the Nightmare (or Hell) character by typing the name.
