Duel MF: Necro + ...

What?

Keep in mind, this is starting from scratch (when does ladder reset again?)

MF will mostly be cows and choas and baal.

Necro is a skelly + revive +corpse, with leftovers to what curses I need.

The other is think would best be a sorc or hammerdin.

Would it be cost effective to go with a sorc til I get gear for a hammerdin?

I think you're asking which character it's best to mf with. (Not completely sure though). I think the best mf buddy would be caster variety--sorc much more than hammerdin--since a sorc can shred monsters from a safer distance. Plus, if your merc uses infinity, the sorc can hang out behind your army or skellies and mages and nuke cows or minions or whatever. Great combination.

Well both chars will be built for mf really. But a sorc with infinity merc sounds good.

But to spec... I dunno. Blizzard seems all around good, as only the oblivion knights are immune to cold.

I'll give it a try.

Lala... Give the infinity to a lightning sorc or a javazon.

You'll prob never get to Diablo with only blizzard.

Blizz sorcies arent exactly a summon/CE necros friend... Their cold tends to constantly shatter all the bodies you need to pull off any of your spells. Id go with a Hammer for the extra boost to your skelly dmg. Java wouldnt be bad, especially if she had a Infinity merc, which would free that space for your merc to use an insight to counter all the mana that you will be using casting CE.

Conclusion:

Hammer or Java for your friend. Hammer if hes more towards the poorer side, java if he can spring to get an Infinity.
