I agree with lemming. Dual bloodletters are great as mid-game twinking gear (when you reach lvl 30) but using the BK set would be better for hell.

but the bloodletters have plus skills, life leech, and swung very fast. and as far as i know, the BK sacred scourge doesnt have any life leech at all (tell me if it's wrong), and the weapon speed is rather low, though it does more dmg than bloodletter. i really like the +skills on bloodletters... still confused here... i know that bloodletters probably wont do much help in hell diff., but im still not sure enough of using BK sword. maybe other ppl here have more input/opinion i should know?

EDIT: Sacred Charge not Sacred scourge, my mistake thx to Hbeachbabe

Bloodletter is no good for an endgame whirler. It gives a boost to sword mastery and ww, but that doesn't come close to making up for its poor range and poor damage. The BK swords are better, but still very subpar for a whirler. If you're intent on making a sword whirler, I'd start shopping for a Cruel Colossus Blade of Quickness since none of the unique/set swords are very good (Doombringer/GF are too slow, everything else lacks damage).

Is BKCB the one with knockback? Isn't that kind of annoying for a melee character? The reason I recommended CCBoQ is because you could potentially get two free sockets to use however you wish (BerBer for 40% CB :D).

What j00 got against BKCB Kab? :p

I actually strongly recommend BKCB for whirlybarbs in PvM - admittedly, damage is a little low, but with a Shael, it's equivalent to a bottom-end CCBoQ, but with tasty 35% CB, which makes up for the low damage, and 20% res all, which can shore up gaps in gear. I patted a whirlybarb using Shaeled BKCB at level 76, so I have a little experience.
hm... make sense... i will try this one :D got the shael(i think), and goin to trade my spire of honor for BKCB today... then, i'll cubing all the collosus blade i'll might find in hell diff, hopefully it will come up with cruel mods. thx... necrolemming. and thx to all others for your opinions. as for my bloodletters, i'll let ATMA to handle for me for a while....

Yes, the CB has knockback. However, with an area-covering attack like WW, it's not even mildly irritating. Heck, sometimes, the monsters get knocked further into your WW path. :D

Not to mention that I don't even think you can shop up CCB/SoQ until A5H, IIRC.
Also, using the BK set together means an additional 200%ED to demons/undead and +2 skills which makes up for the lack of both.

In any case, based on the original post, BK set > dual blood letters. If you want to talk abt BoTD, CCCBQ etc, thats a whole different ball-game.

my whirler uses GF/Kingslayer Colussus Blade and does just fine thankyouverymuch. it's quite easy to hit the last WW breakpoint, so your claim of "too slow" doesn't hold.

The last ww bp is at -35 for one handed and -60 for two handed (4 fpa). Colossus Blades have base speed of 0 (I think, it might be 5) and GF has no built in IAS, so the best you can do is hit the -15 bp (6 fpa). Keep in mind that off weapon IAS doesn't affect ww attack speed, and that the attack speeds for dual wielding are independent of each other.

actually, I goofed - my Kingslayer is in a Colossus Sword. The German Weapon Speed calc lists it as 3 fpa/8.3 attacks per second. not the top breakpoint, but still pretty good.
